Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has been singing the praises of Reds forward Sadio Mane this afternoon, after the Senegal star scored twice in the opening 45 minutes against Man City at Wembley.

Mane first tackled City goalkeeper Steffen into the goal to make it two nil before adding a third before the opening period came to a close.
And over on Twitter, Jamie Carragher has been declaring his love for Mane with a couple of tweets in celebration of the Liverpool striker’s efforts today. Following Mane’s first goal, Carragher simply tweeted how he ‘loved’ Mane.
Then, with Mane adding his second and Liverpool’s third, Carragher was quick to take to his social media account again to sing the praises of the Liverpool ace.
There has been talk in recent weeks that Mane might find his place under threat with the emergence of Luis Diaz at the club. The Colombian arrived in January and has been a revelation since signing.
However, Mane has come roaring back in the big games recently and after scoring against City in the league last week, he’s now made it three in two.
City, then, face a mammoth task in the second half as Mane, Salah, and Diaz will all be sniffing more goals.
