Jamie Carragher has tipped Tottenham Hotspur to push for a Premier League top-two place alongside Chelsea this season.
Spurs enjoyed a superb summer on the transfer front and set the pace last weekend with a 4-1 hammering of Southampton.
Tottenham hit the ground running last season but soon began struggling under Nuno Espirito Santo.

This prompted Daniel Levy to make a change in the dugout, replacing Nuno with Antonio Conte.
The Italian promptly dragged Spurs into the top four come the final matchday of the 2021-22 campaign.
Levy then backed Conte handsomely in the transfer market, bringing in six new players.
While Tottenham made light work of Southampton, they’ll be up against a much tougher opponent this weekend.
On Sunday, Spurs head to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea, who have spent big this summer.
The Blues have signed Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka and Gabriel Slonina.
“Spurs look a lot better than they did last season”
Carragher, writing on Sky Sports, backed Spurs and Chelsea to challenge Manchester City and Liverpool for a top-two spot.
“A lot of people may be down on Chelsea this season, but I think a couple of players could still come into Stamford Bridge before the window closes,” said the pundit.
“They could be in a completely different position come the end of August.
“Spurs could compete with Conte, especially looking at the results they got away at Liverpool and Manchester City last season.
“The Italian is a coach who can quite rightly go up against Klopp and Guardiola and not feel in any way inferior due to the success he’s had abroad and here in the Premier League as well.
“Spurs look a lot better than they did last season and they’ll join Chelsea in trying to close in on the top two.”
