Jamie Carragher has predicted that there is no chance Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be leaving Goodison Park anytime soon.
The Toffees have in the past couple of decades sold the likes of Wayne Rooney and Romelu Lukaku when they were shining, but Carragher expects it’ll be a different story with their current centre-forward.
Calvert-Lewin, who has been with the Merseyside outfit since 2016, has taken his game to new heights since Carlo Ancelotti took charge as manager.
The 24-year-old striker has become a goal machine that comes alive in the penalty box.
He’s currently scored 19 goals in 30 games across all competitions this season.
England captain Harry Kane is the only forward above him in the Three Lions pecking order, and he looks a certain to be in this summer’s squad for the European Championships.
Carragher believes that Everton is the perfect home right now for Calvert-Lewin.
“He is in the right place with the perfect coach for him, so I cannot see him even thinking of moving on for the foreseeable future – especially when so much of the attacking play gives him the freedom to focus on operating in the penalty area,” Carragher wrote in the Telegraph.

TBR’s View:
If top clubs wanted to sign a striker in the summer, then Calvert-Lewin is surely someone that would crop up in conversations.
Arguably his biggest strength is he’s a dominant figure in the air, someone who scores plenty with his head, as well as defend great from set-pieces.
Additionally, he’s deceptively quick, and a real handful for defenders with his physical attributes.
