Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher reckons some Reds supporters fail to acknowledge the contributions of Mo Salah, insisting the Egyptian can be underappreciated at Anfield.
The star was on target for Jurgen Klopp’s side last night during the 3-2 win over West Ham United, which took him to 19 goals for the season.
15 of those have come in the Premier League, and the 27-year-old is now just two behind Jamie Vardy and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the race for the Golden Boot.

That may come as a surprise to some, but in recent weeks Salah has been creeping towards top gear again.
Salah’s haul of 19 for the season means he now has 90 for the club in 147 appearances. He also has 37 assists.
They are undeniably fantastic numbers, and Anfield hero Carragher believes the star hasn’t also gotten the credit he deserves.
He said: “I think he is underappreciated and he can frustrate you as a player and I will show you clips why. It is also the reason why he is so good.

“He is not as strong as [Sadio] Mane, he is probably not as clever with the ball as [Roberto] Firmino when the ball comes into them, because they all play very narrow.
“So he does lose the ball a lot in situations like this. So when you’re watching a game, with free-play between the boxes, if you like, at times it can be a frustration watching Salah.”
TBR’s view – Sensational Salah would be missed if he left
It can be argued that Salah is sometimes a victim of his incredible first season at Anfield.

What he did in 2017/18 was remarkable, and sometimes the expectations of him can be too high as a result of that deadly first campaign.
He was never going to replicate that, but the level he’s shown since then has still been excellent.
Liverpool would likely struggle more than people might think if he was no longer around, which is why his efforts should always be appreciated.
