Liverpool host Burnley in Sunday’s early kick-off in the Premier League and will be hoping to get their title bid back on track.
Last weekend’s 0-0 draw with Merseyside rivals Everton meant that Liverpool relinquished their place at the top of the Premier League table.
Manchester City are top now and Liverpool cannot afford any more slip-ups as they welcome Burnley to Anfield.
But one Burnley player will be aiming to impress Jurgen Klopp after being linked with a move to Liverpool in the recent past.
Amid Liverpool’s injury crisis in the January transfer window, Klopp turned his attention to James Tarkowski, according to reports.
The Sun reported that Liverpool eyed a loan deal for Tarkowski in January with Burnley instead asking for £50m.

The Clarets were understandably unwilling to lose one of their key players in the heart of a relegation battle, although they have since climbed out of the drop zone.
With five points separating them from the bottom three, both Burnley and Tarkowski will be keen to get a result this weekend.
And there is a double incentive for the 26-year-old, who could find himself back on Liverpool’s shopping list for the summer if he impresses.
The twice capped England international has been a rock at the back for Burnley recently and he could impress Klopp firsthand at Anfield on Sunday.
