Liverpool midfielder James Milner reckons Jurgen Klopp is like legendary former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
The 33-year-old was speaking on Alan Brazil’s Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Friday when he made the comparison.
He said: “We work very hard and in every single training session he demands the best. You can see from him bouncing around on the sidelines how much it means to him, and he wants to be out on that field sometimes.

“He loves the press conferences as well; I think he’s the same as some older managers, like Sir Alex, as he thinks the battle starts there.”
Klopp has totally transformed the Reds during his four years on Merseyside.
The enigmatic German has brought an exciting brand of football and made some amazing signings to place the club amongst the very best in Europe – something that was confirmed last season with their Champions League triumph.
TBR’s view – Klopp’s aura undeniably huge
Klopp owns his press conferences and is an excellent player of mind games, very much like Ferguson used to be.

He commands total respect and has a real aura about him.
That is probably about where the comparisons can stop though, with Ferguson obviously having had a long and highly successful career in management.
The German will do well to get anywhere near the 77-year-old’s haul of trophies, but his adoring fans won’t care too much about that.
