Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus are two players who know one another very well.
The two attackers played together at Manchester City for a long time, and they were both key players in Pep Guardiola’s side’s success in recent years.
However, they’re now rivals at two London clubs – Chelsea and Arsenal respectively.
Interestingly, a player from another London club has now made a claim about both men.
Indeed, James Maddison has taken part in a TikTok challenge on Tottenham Hotspur’s official page, and he’s been ranking some of the best players in world football.
Maddison had to include both Sterling and Jesus in his top 10 list, and interestingly, he put the £45m Arsenal star ahead of the England international.

This is a very interesting debate, and we can understand Maddison’s ranking.
In terms of recent form, Jesus has been better than Sterling over the past two years. Sterling’s form appears to have deserted him since he joined Chelsea, while Jesus has been a key player in Arsenal’s recent rise to prominence.
However, if you’re looking at their entire body of work, particularly in the Premier League, Sterling has to edge this debate.
It’s easy to forget just how good Sterling was in his prime at City. He was a goal machine and he played a huge part in numerous title wins and European runs.
Jesus, of course, had his own part to play in City’s success, but Sterling was certainly a more important player for Pep Guardiola in that time than Jesus was.
In terms of recent form, Jesus does edge this argument, and that may be why Maddison has done his ranking in this way.
These two are undoubtedly two of the best attackers the Premier League has seen in recent years, and it’s interesting to debate who is the better player.
