James Maddison has been full of praise for one of the players who departed Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.
It was a summer full of change at Spurs, with Thomas Frank coming in to replace Ange Postecoglou and plenty of work being done on the playing squad.
Tottenham signed five new players over the summer, with Xavi Simons, Randal Kolo Muani, Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha and Kota Takai all arriving through the door.
Not too many departed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, although James Maddison is a big fan of one of the stars who was sold.

Son Heung-min scores his first hat-trick for LAFC
Son Heung-min has made an impressive start to life at LAFC and has just scored his first hat-trick in the MLS.
The former Tottenham Hotspur captain managed three goals in LAFC’s 4-1 win over Salt Lake in what was his sixth appearance for the club.
The 33-year-old has now taken his tally to five goals and two assists for the season, with his team currently sitting fourth in the MLS’ Western Conference.
The South Korean’s first two goals of the game were vintage Sonny, as his first saw him race through on goal before producing a calm and composed finish.
The second goal was a curling long-range effort which left Salt Lake’s keeper scrambling to reach the effort, which snuck in at the far post.
After the game, Son admitted he is loving life at LAFC, saying: “I’m enjoying playing for this club and getting good results away from home. I’ve played five or six games and it’s been five away games and one home game.”
Spurs supporters will be delighted to see Son looking so happy playing football again, following what was a tough season on a personal level for him, despite the Europa League triumph.
James Maddison hails Son Heung-min the ‘GOAT’ after LAFC hat-trick
Maddison has taken to social media to hail Son as the ‘GOAT’ after claiming his first MLS matchball for scoring a hat-trick.
The England international became very close to Son during their time together at Tottenham, and they will have been gutted to be separated over the summer.

Tottenham sold Son for £20m after the veteran made it clear to the North London club that he was ready for the next chapter in his career.
The North London club replaced their number seven with Simons, who joined from RB Leipzig in a deal worth around £52m.
