Reported Arsenal target James Maddison reacted after seeing Jack Grealish complete his big transfer this summer on Instagram.

Grealish joined Manchester City yesterday from Aston Villa in what is a Premier League record transfer.

Maddison, himself, has actually been linked with a big money move – with Arsenal pushing hard to sign him.

Football London report that Mikel Arteta’s side could be looking to do a deal worth over £60 million for the playmaker.

And Maddison expressed his delight for Grealish after his transfer went through.

He said: “Nothing less than what you deserve my bro, what a guy man!”

Arsenal fans may also have been interested to see both Bukayo Saka and Reiss Nelson’s responses to Grealish’s move.

Despite the outpouring of well wishes from footballers from almost every club, the signing is one which has caused a lot of hurt at Villa.

Grealish was Villa’s talisman and best player, and he will be extremely difficult for Dean Smith’s side to replace over the coming season.
