Trent Alexander-Arnold has posted a highly-impressive trick shot from Liverpool training on Instagram which sees him score from behind the goal – and both James Maddison and Alberto Moreno have commented.
Premier League clubs returned to training earlier this week in larger groups and were permitted to engage in contact sport, rather than training at a socially distant two metres apart. It comes as the Premier League announces a return date.
Indeed, The Reds are back in action in the Merseyside derby on June 20 – a match in which they could secure the Premier League title, if Manchester City lose to Arsenal on June 17.
Alexander-Arnold has been in stunning form for Liverpool once again this season and he posted a highly-skilled video on Instagram, which shows the England defender curling the ball into the net from behind the goal.
Maddison is set to have an interesting summer ahead of him, and the £80million-rated (Mail) Leicester star has been loosely linked with Liverpool at times – given his excellent campaign with the Foxes, which has seen them rise into third place.
The England ace and Alexander-Arnold’s teammate Dejan Lovren both teased the Liverpool star, claiming that his effort was wind-assisted. Moreno, meanwhile, applauded his old teammate.
