It appears Leeds United are not overly convinced with their January transfer arrival Kiko Casilla. As reported by The Sun’s Alan Nixon, Leeds are considering a replacement for the former Real Madrid man. The Yorkshire Evening Post’s Phil Hay then backed up the claim by suggesting Casilla could head back to Spain.
The 32-year-old has struggled to settle in at Elland Road. His poor display in the play-off semi-final second leg against Derby County certainly left fans fuming. So his departure would not be overly unpopular.
But who should replace him?
There is, in fact, a fairly obvious solution. Last summer, Leeds United brought in Jamal Blackman on loan from Chelsea.

As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Bielsa was a huge fan of Blackman. He described him as England’s best young goalkeeper. However, the report also detailed how the Argentine wanted him to lose weight and improve his conditioning before being given the number one spot.
In November, it looked as though Blackman was finally going to get that chance. Unfortunately, he broke his leg in an under-23 game and his season and spell at Leeds was over.
But the 26-year-old is over the worst of his injury, as he has been keeping followers updated on his Twitter feed.
With the competition for first-team places at Chelsea massive it is likely he will again be available this summer and Leeds United would clearly love to have him back.
It could be the easiest solution to a potential problem.
