Jake Livermore has told West Bromwich Albion’s official website that Karlan Grant has been brilliant since arriving in the window as he expressed his delight at seeing the striker bag his first goal for the Baggies on Monday.
Grant finally arrived at the Hawthorns in a £15 million move midway through this month (via BBC Sport). And he got the chance to make his debut shortly after in the goalless draw with Burnley.

His debut goal for Slaven Bilic’s side came on Monday as he bagged West Brom’s late equaliser against Brighton. It was an emphatic finish from the 23-year-old, who scored 19 times in the Championship last season.
And Livermore suggested that Grant’s arrival has given everyone at the club a big lift.

“I’m delighted for him and he’s been brilliant since he came through the door,” he told the club’s official website.
“There was a lot going on behind-the-scenes whether he was coming or not. He’s here now and hopefully that’s the first of many because he’s got a great attitude and he loves to score goals.”
Grant continues to boast a hugely impressive record at the highest level. He has now scored five goals in 11 starts and four substitute appearances.
He was unable to save Huddersfield in 2019. Nevertheless, despite arriving in January, he still managed to end the campaign as their leading goalscorer.
And the early signs hint that he could top the scoring charts for his new club. It certainly looks to be a safe bet to suggest that he is probably going to play a crucial role if they are going to get some wins under their belt.
