Liverpool are making a habit once again of producing quality young players to supplement their squad in recent times.
Harking back to the days when we saw the likes of Jamie Carragher, Michael Owen, and Steven Gerrard all burst onto the scene, the Reds are seeing a new influx of young talent make an impact at Anfield.

Curtis Jones is leading the way in midfield, while the likes of Neco Williams and Rhys Williams are both impressing Jurgen Klopp enough to be given first-team minutes. Indeed, FourFourTwo have called Neco the ‘biggest success story of 2020’ for the Reds.
But among those younger players who might not be as well known, FourFourTwo have singled out Jake Cain as the one they believe will be next to make a big impact.

The attacking midfielder has three goals and four assists for Liverpool’s second string this term, per Transfermarkt. He’s also well-liked by Jurgen Klopp, having been in the Champions League squads this term but yet to make an appearance.
The future, it seems, is a bright one for Liverpool.

Even the players who don’t quite get into the first XI on a regular basis are proving a success for Liverpool. We saw this with Rhian Brewster, who completed a mammoth £23m move to Sheffield United this summer.
In a season of injuries, the shining light has been the chances these young players are getting to impress at first-team level.
Jake Cain, it seems, could well be the next one to make a splash on Merseyside.
