Jadon Sancho raves about midfielder reportedly eyed by Liverpool, delivers exciting prediction
Jude Bellingham continues to earn rave reviews for his performances at club level and with England. He has also earned the attention of Liverpool, according to reports. Now, new Manchester United signing Jadon Sancho has delivered an exciting prediction about his Dortmund teammate.
Bellingham, 18, clocked up a whopping 46 games in his first Dortmund season after joining from Birmingham City. He had not been expected to play so regularly, but that form saw him earn a place in England’s Euro 2020 squad. On Saturday, he made his third Euro 2020 appearance.
Eurosport claim, in a report from April, that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Bellingham. The youngster is likely to cost a whole lot more than the £23million (Goal) Dortmund paid for him. Now, Sancho has raved about Bellingham – and delivered an exciting prediction on Lions Den.
“The sky’s the limit for the guy [Bellingham],” Sancho told England’s official YouTube channel – just days after a move to Manchester United had been agreed. “He is a great footballer, he is mature for his age, which is very surprising, because I think when I was 18, I was not that mature at all.”
Bellingham ideal as Wijnaldum replacement at Liverpool – amid Sancho comments?
In an ideal world, Liverpool would have all the money in the world to splash on Europe’s best and most-exciting talents. But they don’t. Bellingham is likely to cost the best part of £100million if clubs were to be interested in the England ace. So, Liverpool’s chances are minimal.
But regardless of whether Liverpool could sign him or not – is he a good replacement for Wijnaldum? Without a doubt. He has the engine, the tenacity, the ability and even the eye for goal to cover Wijnaldum. But Liverpool’s chances of signing Bellingham are small.
