Arsenal academy star Bradley Ibrahim has signed his first professional contract at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners academy’s Twitter feed shared the news on Monday, complete with an interview with the 17-year-old.

Ibrahim joined the Hale End setup in 2017, having spent most of his youth at the QPR academy.

The versatile youngster has already featured for Arsenal’s Under-23s.

He made his debut for the U23s in the Premier League 2 fixture away to Leicester earlier this year.

Ibrahim has since clocked up a further two PL2 appearances for Arsenal.

He also has 16 Under-18 Premier League outings under his belt in 2021-22.

Ibrahim previously played mostly in midfield, but this season he has featured at centre-back and right-back too.

On Monday, the Arsenal prodigy took to Instagram expressing how excited he is at penning the contract:

Plenty of his Arsenal academy teammates congratulated him.

Meanwhile, Jack Wilshere also lauded Ibrahim on his own Instagram stories:

Arsenal have so many talented players in their academy and it’s great to see another one commit his future to the club.

When someone under 18 gets game time for the Under-23s, that’s testament to their talent and high ceiling.

Hopefully in the coming years we’ll see a lot more of Ibrahim in the U23s, on loan and perhaps even in the first team.
