Jack Wilshere sends five-word Instagram message to West Ham star

Pablo Fornals is in the form of his life at the moment, and the Spanish West Ham star has now received praise from Jack Wilshere on Instagram.

Fornals, 25, had endured a tricky couple of seasons initially, following his £25million (Telegraph) move from Villarreal in the summer of 2019.

But towards the end of last season, and the start of 21-22, the Spain international is coming good. On Saturday, he was excellent at Elland Road.

West Ham came from behind to beat Leeds – with Fornals instrumental once again. Coming off at 1-1, Michail Antonio netted the winner late on.

Antonio’s goal came after the Hammers had cancelled out Raphinha’s opener – when Jarrod Bowen’s effort deflected home off of Junior Firpo.

After the match, Fornals took to Instagram to send a message to West Ham fans. Clearly, the midfielder is enjoying life right now in claret and blue.

While Leeds did have their chances and probably should have scored more than once, there was always a sense that the Hammers would win.

Ultimately, form came to light and a nice pass from Declan Rice saw an on-rushing Antonio bow down on goal – finishing like a man with confidence.

Fornals is one of the first names on the teamsheet in a dangerous three-man attacking midfield behind Antonio – along with Bowen and Said Benrahma.

His form as such has earned him a place in the Spain squad, deservedly so. Now, he is getting praise from Wilshere – who posted a five-word message.
