Santi Cazorla was amongst those to reply to Jack Wilshere on Instagram after the midfielder expressed his delight at being back out on the pitch in West Ham United’s Carabao Cup win on Tuesday night.
The Hammers are into the fourth round after enjoying an emphatic win over Hull City at the London Stadium. Sebastien Haller and Andriy Yarmolenko both bagged braces, and Robert Snodgrass got the other in a 5-1 victory.

Of course, much of the talk surrounding the game centred around the concerning news involving David Moyes, Issa Diop and Josh Cullen.
Wilshere was an unfortunate beneficiary from Cullen’s absence. The 28-year-old was promoted to the starting lineup having initially been named on the bench.

The England international was making his first appearance of the season in the tie. And it seemed to be a promising night for Wilshere. He looked good on the ball and saw out the full 90 minutes at the London Stadium.
It has not been an easy time for Wilshere. The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that the Irons were considering cancelling the final year of his contract.
It remains to be seen if he does indeed leave the club before the window closes. But he decided to put all talk about his future to one side and concentrate on the side’s performance as he took to Instagram following the game.
