Speaking to The Sun, Jack Wilshere has been discussing which striker he thinks Arsenal should go for, and he’s shared an interesting verdict on who he thinks the Gunners should go after.

Jack Wilshere says Arsenal should sign Alexander Isak

Wilshere named Alexander Isak as the striker he thinks Arsenal should go after this summer.

The pundit says that Arsenal definitely need a number nine, and he thinks Alexander Isak could be the perfect solution here.

Isak is Arsenal’s dream target, and Wilshere wants to see the Swedish striker head to the Emirates.

“I think they need a nine. You can add depth around the squad, but right now it’s a nine. I would go for Isak, but I think that is probably a bit unattainable. He has experience of the league, he’s scored goals, helped a team get into the Champions League. I would go for Isak as number one,” Wilshere said.

Wilshere wants Arsenal to go for Sesko, but, as he says, this may be a slightly unattainable target.

Indeed, Isak has been valued at £200m by some in recent times, and Arsenal may not have that kind of money.

However, if Arsenal were to push the boat out and get this deal done, they’d be getting a truly brilliant player.
