Leeds came unravelled against Brighton yesterday as Graham Potter’s men saw off Marcelo Bielsa’s side 2-0 at the AMEX.
It was a deserved result for the hosts. They dominated large parts of the game and got the three points needed to more or less ensure they will certainly be playing Premier League football next season.

For Leeds, it was a bit of a lesson tactically and will have given Bielsa plenty of food for thought. And speaking after the game, winger Jack Harrison conceded that Bielsa had had no option but to accept his side were well beaten by Brighton.
“He gave a brief overview. He likes to analyse the games in-depth and review it with us. He said it was a fair result, we really struggled to press their three centre-backs,” Harrison said. (Leeds Live)
“They made it difficult for us and created more chances than us. He said it was fair enough, I know he’ll be looking back on that and ways to improve, starting on Monday.”
Leeds face Spurs, Burnley, Southampton, and West Brom in their final four PL fixtures this season. Bielsa will no doubt fancy winning all four of those games, with a strong finish key for confidence and momentum.
TBR View: Bielsa is a smart man, Leeds were well beaten and he knows it
This is nice to hear actually from Harrison. There was never any point in Bielsa ranting and raving and it’s the sign of an experienced manager that he simply accepts the loss.
Leeds need to do better, though. They have been so impressive this season and deserve praise, but games like this can become more frequent in the second season.
