Jack Harrison needs to try make the most of another Leeds lifeline

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has continued with his unique trend of announcing his starting XI days before a game ahead of a trip to Rotherham United on Saturday.

The Whites travel to Rotherham in the Championship and two changes will see Kalvin Phillips return to the side, while goalkeeper Kiko Casilla will make his debut in English football.

That means that Jack Harrison will once again start for the Yorkshire giants for a seventh consecutive league game.

But the attacker has the alarming trend of being substituted off in the previous six games, with half of them involving him being withdrawn at half-time.

The winger has been guilty of being extremely distant in matches and failing to leave his impact in the final third.

Harrison is on a season-long loan at Elland Road from Manchester City and so far has just two goals in 22 games across all competitions.

The 22-year-old has had plenty of chances handed to him by Bielsa, but continues to come up short and surely can’t be far off another spell on the sidelines.

Table toppers Leeds can expect to see plenty of the ball against relegation threatened Rotherham at the weekend and Harrison needs to bring the fire.

The wide man’s reputation is taking a beating with some distant performances in a Leeds shirt and he needs to show much more.

Harrison has to try improve drastically baby being more positive on the ball with some direct drilling and better decision making.
