Jack Harrison has told Leeds United’s pre-Stoke City press conference – as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening post – that new signing Eddie Nketiah is impressing both and off the pitch.
Nketiah, 20, scored the winner after coming on as a substitute against Brentford on Wednesday evening to give Leeds a third league win in four. It delighted the Elland Road crowd, including Arsenal legend Ian Wright who came to watch.
It was Nketiah’s second in two appearances for Leeds, after scoring a similar goal against Salford City in the Carabao Cup – one that also was supplied by Helder Costa. Fans are already delighted with the impact of the striker.
On-loan Leeds winger Harrison said he has been impressed by fellow loanee Nketiah, but not only on the pitch. He described the England Under-21 international as a “great guy” and one that has seemingly fit into the Leeds squad with ease.
