Leicester City have been rocked with the news that right-back Ricardo Pereira has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a challenge with Aston Villa star Jack Grealish on Monday night.
The Foxes thrashed Villa 4-0 and following the incident and the prognosis, Grealish has taken to Twitter to wish Pereira well in his recovery.
Pereira has been instrumental in Leicester’s solid 2019/20 campaign, playing 33 games in all competitions and scoring three goals.
Leicester have a decent lead to fifth in the Premier League table and look on course to secure Champions League football for next season.
Grealish’s classy gesture might not mean much in the eyes of supporters, although the tackle which has injured Pereira was by him on the Villa star.

Leicester’s predicament is far better than Villa’s even without one of their top defenders.
Grealish will probably stay in the Premier League with, or without, Villa and they face a real battle against the drop.
Dean Smith’s men face Chelsea this weekend and Grealish knows that his team-mates must go on a run of unbeaten games sooner rather than later if they are to stand any chance.
Villa only returned to the top-flight last season and some pretty poor spending in the summer looks to have cost them big style.
Grealish is reportedly worth around £45 million and with Manchester United keen he seems destined to leave in the summer.
The 24-year-old has scored nine goals and registered eight assists for Villa this season.
Smith could do with a few more from his magic man between now and the end of the campaign, as they look to avoid relegation back to the second tier.
