Leicester City are reportedly set to suffer the first blow of the summer as the Daily Mail say that Manchester City are closing in on a £75 million deal for Riyad Mahrez. The Foxes will need to act quickly and they may well have had a slice of luck over the weekend as Aston Villa missed out on promotion in the Championship play-off final, opening the door for a move for Jack Grealish.
Sky Bet place Leicester as the 3/1 favourites to sign the winger, who is 2/1 to leave Villa Park this summer after a pivotal year in his development.
Now aged 22, Grealish is unlikely to want to hang around in the Championship if there are offers for him from the Premier League, particularly if a club like Leicester can offer first team football with a spot in the side opening up if Mahrez moves to Manchester.

With pace and drive down the wings, immediate comparisons could be made to Demarai Gray and his style of play, perhaps suggesting that Claude Puel would look to share the starting role between the duo or alternatively play one on either flank, but the kind of winger he could be looking for is clear.
Grealish may not be the finished product, far from it, but he has undoubted potential and as Leicester have shown, they are keen to bring in young talents who have not yet reached their peak with the likes of Harry Maguire.
As he continues to improve and become more clinical in front of goal, one of his biggest weaknesses, his price will rise further and further. Bringing him to the King Power Stadium before his price tag soars and whilst Leicester have cash to splash could be a wise investment.
