Reports this week have suggested that Leeds United might have a battle on their hands keeping hold of talented youngster Jack Clarke. The Sun is reporting that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is hopeful of bringing the player to The Etihad in January after being impressed by his cameo appearances for Leeds this season.
Considering his strong relationship with Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa, fans are concerned.
But, considering what Clarke said in October an exit now would seem odd.
As reported by The Mirror, Clarke has been wanted by City for some time. In fact, he rejected advances from the club last November in order to sign his first professional deal at Elland Road.

Speaking of that decision, the 18-year-old made it clear he had no regrets.
“I wouldn’t want to leave when I’ve got everything I want here.”
Surely nothing has changed. Clarke would simply watch on from the development squad at City, or end up loaned out for a temporary stay elsewhere.
At Leeds he is at the club he loves and is playing on a semi-regularly basis. Given his current cameo form, he might even be in line for a start over the upcoming festive period.
Manchester City have a lot to offer Clarke which rightly has Leeds fans worried. But, they should have some faith in the lad to make what looks the right decision for his career.
