Jack Bearne has posted on Twitter after putting pen to paper on professional terms with Liverpool following his promotion into the Under-23 side this season – and Liverpool fans have reacted by congratulating the attacker.
The 18-year-old joined Liverpool almost three years ago from Notts County and has been making waves ever since. Naturally an attacking midfielder, Bearne is more than versatile and has been known to play out wide and in central midfield.
Last season, he was a regular in Liverpool’s Under-18 side and scored one of the penalties in the FA Youth Cup win over Manchester City after coming on as a substitute. He also scored the winner in a 1-0 win over City in the U-18 Premier League.
His successes have continued this season, playing for the Under-23 side and laying on an assist in a 3-2 win over Chelsea. Midfielder Bearne posted on Twitter, underlining his delight to have signed professional terms with Liverpool.
Bearne is currently on the sidelines at Liverpool after suffering an ankle injury and is expected to return to action in November, when he is expected to be handed some more game time in the Under-23 side.
Liverpool fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that Bearne has agreed professional terms with Liverpool, and many are delighted for the young midfielder.
