Everton making a move for Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal this summer would certainly get the backing of at least one Toffees player.
The Daily Mail reported this week that Carlo Ancelotti is one of the Premier League bosses keen on the 23-year-old.

His future at the Emirates looks to be uncertain. He has spent the second-half of the campaign out on loan at West Brom.
Maitland-Niles has looked bright while with the Baggies. But it remains to be seen if his performances have done enough to tempt Mikel Arteta to hand him a more prominent role next season.

If he is given the chance to move, a number of clubs could register an interest. The Daily Mail has suggested that Everton are joined by the likes of Manchester United, Leeds and Southampton in the running.
If Maitland-Niles did end up heading to Goodison Park, he would be reunited with former Gunners teammate Alex Iwobi.
And it seems that Iwobi would be very happy to see the England international join him on Merseyside – judging by his reaction to an Instagram post in March.
On that occasion, Maitland-Niles posted a compilation of his best bits from his time with the Baggies up until that point.
And Iwobi was one of a number of players to reply, with the £34 million star labelling the youngster a ‘joy to watch’…
