Above anything else, Ange Postecoglou seems like a really nice guy.
Even neutrals have grown to love the Australian due to his calm, laidback approach to press conferences and general down-to-earth nature.
However, as with any football manager, Postecoglou does have a bit of fire in his belly too.
Indeed, the Australian isn’t all smiles and happiness all the time, and according to Alasdair Gold, speaking on his YouTube channel, the Tottenham manager was fuming after the West Ham game this week.
Gold says that he’s heard from numerous sources that the gaffer was incensed after the match, claiming that we may have seen a slight hint of that in his press conference after the game too.

Postecoglou was fuming
Gold shared what he’d heard about Postecoglou after the West Ham game.
“Speaking of Ange, he was furious at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. I’ve heard that from a few people that he was raging after the game. To be honest, we saw as close as we’re going to see it at the press conference afterwards,” Gold said.
Frustrating
We can really sympathise with Postecoglou here, because that West Ham game was frustrating even as a neutral.
Spurs dominated the play for the most part, and it was two bizarre mistakes that cost them the match.
The first goal was a result of two incredibly lucky deflections, while the second goal was born from a terrible backpass.
We’ve all pulled our hair out after conceding such goals on games like FIFA or Football Manager, so we can only imagine how angry you’d be when it happens to you at the very top level – especially when you’re on a five game winless run.
Postecoglou was furious after the game, and hopefully that anger has lit a fire under this Spurs team to put things right against Newcastle on Sunday.
