Don Hutchison has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is off to Manchester City in the summer.
The Spurs star is one of the top strikers not only in the Premier League, but in world football, so it’s unsurprising to hear him linked with other teams.
However, Hutchison appeared confident that not only have Pep Guardiola’s charges expressed an interest in Kane, but that a deal has actually been “done”.
The Premier League TV pundit made the claim on Twitter while responding to a fan who asked about the Reds’ front line in wake of their loss to Burnley.
“Maybe time to look for a different No. 9,” said the former Liverpool midfielder. “I’ve heard Kane is done to City in the summer.
“Teams around Liverpool are strengthening. Jota a massive loss.”

There’s nothing that can be said about Kane’s heroics for Spurs and England that hasn’t already been said.
A tally of 207 goals from 314 competitive Spurs appearances, 32 goals from 48 England appearances, the 2018 World Cup Golden Boot – he’s pretty much got it all.
And this season, Kane has gone up a notch, impressing in a near-enough No. 10 role on top of his No. 9 duties.
That said, Hutchison’s claim is very much out of the blue – surely there would have been more speculation doing the rounds if that were the case?
