Chris Sutton has now shared where he thinks Leeds United will finish in the Premier League this season.

In his latest BBC column, the pundit previewed Leeds’ opening Premier League game against Wolves and revealed that he thinks the Whites will go down this season.

Leeds have lost key players such as Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha this summer but have been busy adding reinforcements to Jesse Marsch’s squad.

But the former Blackburn striker doesn’t think it will be enough to keep Marsch’s men in the Premier League.

Sutton on where Leeds will finish

The BBC pundit has tipped Leeds for relegation this season due to losing Phillips and Raphinha this summer.

Sutton wrote: “Along with Fulham and Bournemouth, I’ve got Leeds as going down this season.

“They only just stayed up last time and then sold their two best players, Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, this summer.”

The former Aston Villa man also thinks the Whites will draw 0-0 in their opening fixture against Wolves tomorrow.

Leeds narrowly avoided relegation last season as they managed to beat Brentford away from home on the final day of the campaign.

Raphinha spearheaded the Whites attack all season and scored a crucial goal that day as Marsch’s men avoided the drop.

And Sutton clearly thinks Leeds will miss two of their best players in the Brazilian and Phillips, but the club have worked hard to replace them this summer.

Marsch has added six new players to his squad, including talented young players such as Tyler Adams, Brenden Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra.

Leeds also seem adamant they will not sell any of their other key players as reports suggest they have rejected a bid from Newcastle for Jack Harrison.

With Marsch adding exciting young players to his side, Leeds will definitely be a great team to watch this season.

The American will be hoping his new players can adjust to the Premier League quickly as he aims to avoid being dragged into another relegation battle.
