‘I’ve ever seen’: Connor Goldson sends message to forward who’s Rangers exit is confirmed
Rangers defender Connor Goldson has claimed that Greg Stewart is the best 5-a-side player he’s ever seen following the latter’s exit from Ibrox.
The Scottish giants confirmed on their official website a few days ago that 31-year-old forward Stewart has gone through the exit doors this summer.
Stewart, who is a boyhood Gers fan, has completed two years with the Light Blues.
The attacker hasn’t been a regular starter during his time in Steven Gerrard’s squad. Firstly, this campaign he only played in eight games across all competitions. Meanwhile, the prior campaign saw him score three goals and make five assists in 25 appearances.

It’s unclear on where he’ll end up now he’s available, but surely he’s an attractive option for someone to snap up on a free transfer.
Stewart posted a heartfelt message on Instagram this weekend following the earlier announcement about his departure.
His post received an intriguing response too from 28-year-old Gers centre-back Goldson.
Greg Stewart part of famous Rangers squad
Despite not playing a major role on the pitch, nobody can take away from boyhood Rangers fan Stewart that he was part of the squad that ended Celtic’s era of dominance during the 2020/21 season.
He’s got serious individual ability, so it’ll be interesting to see if he ends up at a Scottish Premiership rival.
