Ivan Cavaleiro has become a popular man at Wolverhampton Wanderers since he joined back in 2016 and is now playing Premier League football with them.

The Portuguese attacker moved to Molineux for £7million (Express and Star) from Monaco and has taken to English football very quickly.

He is a right-winger with great pace and power to trouble defenders, while he also has a great eye for goal.

Cavaleiro looked a great signing after he played a vital role in promotion from the Championship last season, scoring nine goals and supplying 12 assists in the league.

But he could turn out to be an absolute masterstroke at £7million if he can replicate the same kind of form now in the top flight.

The early signs are that he will be an important player for manager Nuno Espirito Santo in the Premier League and is beginning to make his mark.

Cavaleiro was absent from the opening six league games due to injury, but made an instant impact off the bench to help secure a win over Southampton on his Premier League debut.

He has managed to work his way back to full fitness to get back in the starting XI and scored in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the weekend.
