Aston Villa youngster Callum O’Hare looks like he has a bright future. He proved this yet again in Carlisle United’s victory at the weekend.

The 20-year-old scored one and provided an assist as Carlisle beat Crawley Town 4-2 to keep their play-off hopes alive.

O’Hare latched onto a loose ball to score Carlisle’s third goal after 20 minutes shortly before going off with concussion.

He now has three goals for the U’s since he joined on a temporary basis in January. And Aston Villa will be delighted by his impact.

O’Hare probably has one game left before heading back to Aston Villa. With one match remaining, Carlisle are ninth – two places and two points off the top-seven.

Their dreams of qualifying are not over yet but are highly unlikely. Nonetheless, O’Hare will be aiming to go out on a high.

The England under-20 starlet will return to Villa Park and hope to follow fellow Solihull-born Jack Grealish’s route to the first-team.

Many Aston Villa fans think the pair will form an exciting partnership in midfield for years to come. Here are some of the best tweets praising O’Hare for his performance.
