Tottenham and Everton played out a hugely entertaining encounter this afternoon at Goodison Park.
Ange Postecoglou finally had a near full squad to choose from and he rotated things a bit, bringing in Brennan Johnson for Dejan Kulusevski and once again going with Richarlison as his main man up top.
Of course, Richarlison got the headlines with a couple of excellent goals. The first of which was laid on by the impressive Destiny Udogie at left-back.
Indeed, Udogie is one Spurs player who doesn’t look like he’ll be rotated any time soon. And watching the Italian for TNT Sports, Ally McCoist admitted to being seriously impressed by the youngster this season.

All McCoist seriously impressed by Destiny Udogie
Speaking on co-comms about the impact Udogie has made throughout the season, McCoist was quick to sing the praises of the left-back.
“Porro’s been excellent but in forward areas I think Udogie’s been incredible. You watch him when Spurs have the ball and he disappears int a number ten position, it’s remarkable. Big Ange has got him going,” McCoist said.
Udogie one of the successes of the season
Tottenham paid just £15m to sign Destiny Udogie and you have to say it’s looking an absolute steal with each passing week.
The Italian has been outstanding from left-back and he’s been absolutely key in ensuring Postecoglou’s way of playing has really took off.
Both full backs, Udogie and Pedro Porro, are so key now for Spurs that it’s hard to imagine them playing without them.
Udogie got himself yet another assist today and that is becoming a recurring theme for the youngster.
Certainly, if Tottenham are to enjoy success this season in any way, then the contributions of players like Destiny Udogie will have gone a long way towards it.
Tottenham fans, then, must be delighted with what they’re seeing right now.
