Radu Dragusin is Tottenham’s newest signing.
The Romanian defender has joined Spurs from Genoa for £27m, and to say that the transfer saga that came before this move was complicated would be an understatement.
Bayern Munich and Napoli both looked to have snatched Dragusin from Spurs at certain points, and the player’s agent has been very open about the fact he was open to the idea of heading to Munich instead.
The player’s agent has also stated that Dragusin is already dreaming of playing for Real Madrid or Barcelona, and that’s beore he’s even played a game for Spurs.
Speaking on The Spurs Chat Podcast, The Express’ Charlie Gordon has been discussing Dragusin’s agents recent comments, and he’s led to believe that all of this talk hasn’t gone down well at Tottenham.

Spurs not happy with Dragusin’s agent
Gordon shared what he knows about this situation.
“It don’t think it’s going to go down well with Tottenham, I’ll put it that way. It’s quite unusual to see an agent speaking to the press publicly, using quotes in articles and stuff, it’s unusal to see that. It’s strange he would put that into the open when he’s about to join Tottenham and trying to endear himself to the fans,” Gordon said.
Strange
Dragusin’s agent could do with learning a thing or two about the art of staying quiet.
Yes, it’s easy to get excited when your client is making a huge move, and you can sometimes say things you shouldn’t but this hasn’t just been a one-off.
From the start, Dragusin’s agent has been incredibly vocal about what’s going on behind the scenes, and that’s only going to rub these clubs up the wrong way.
There’s a reason you don’t usually hear from agents, and Dragusin’s representative should probably follow the precedent that has been set and stay quiet about these private matters until the time is right.
