Jamie O’Hara has told TalkSPORT that he is seriously annoyed with what he’s been hearing about Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Spurs picked up another win on Saturday evening as they beat Everton 2-0 in north London. Goals from Harry Kane and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg sealed an important victory against a well-organised Toffees side.
Spurs are currently sitting in third place and level on points with Premier League champions Manchester City, while being four behind leaders Arsenal.
But Antonio Conte’s men have received criticism for their style of play this season, particularly after the north London derby defeat.
Now O’Hara has responded to critics and branded it ‘pathetic’ on TalkSPORT today.

O’Hara annoyed with what he’s hearing about Tottenham
“Don’t watch us then. We don’t care!” O’Hara said.
“We’re playing well. I’m sorry but if you watched Arsenal yesterday, they got absolutely pumped in the second-half.
“No-one’s talking about how bad Arsenal were – it’s just ‘another win, well done! Got it over the line’.”
TalkSPORT presenter Laura Woods then responded: “Why you bringing Arsenal into this?”
“Well the point is everyone jumps on Tottenham whenever we don’t play unbelievable football and bopping teams off the park like Barcelona,” O’Hara explained.
“We beat Everton 2-0, who are a good side and set-up very well against us in the first-half. We broke them down and won the game.
“What do people want from us? This is the best start we’ve ever had to a Premier League season, ever! And people are still not happy.
“Level on points with Manchester City and Spurs are getting dug out? It’s pathetic!”

Conte’s men have picked up an impressive 23 points from their opening 10 fixtures, which makes this Spurs’ best ever start to a Premier League campaign.
Tottenham also sit top of their Champions League group and look to be in a good position to qualify for the knockout stages.
Conte’s side haven’t been at their best this season but you get the feeling there’s plenty more to come from this Spurs side. And the fact that they are sitting inside the top three can only be an encouraging sign for the Italian.
