‘It’s our time Chief’ – Leeds fans react to Whites legend Lucas Radebe’s rallying cry

Former Leeds United fan favourite Lucas Radebe has rallied the team ahead of their play-off campaign.

Leeds have recently slipped out of the running for automatic promotion with Norwich City and Sheffield United sealing those two spots.

But Leeds still have the chance to win promotion via the play-offs. And Radebe has urged them on ahead of their play-off campaign.

On Twitter, Radebe posted: “If there’s one club that deserves to go up is [Leeds United]. Great season never mind the playoffs we still going up, especially after Villa game. Come on Leeds let’s finish with the bang.”

The South African defender is a Leeds legend, having racked up over 250 appearances for the club during their Premier League days.

He desperately wants to see his old club back in the top-flight. And he believes they are the “one club” that deserves promotion more than the others.

Leeds have one more league game – against Ipswich Town – where they will be hoping to return to form ahead of the play-offs.
