Fulham captain Tom Cairney has admitted he wants to see Manchester United become a ‘top team’ once again.
Erik ten Hag’s men seem to have turned a corner in recent weeks after picking up three consecutive wins in the Premier League.
Manchester United’s latest victory at Villa Park has put them right back in the mix for a top-four finish.
After struggling to find the back of the net earlier this season, United have netted nine times in their last three games.
And Tom Cairney is delighted to see the Red Devils rediscovering their best form.

Cairney admits he wants United to do well
Speaking on The Players Channel, Cairney admitted he would like to see United return to their best in the Premier League.
“I want Man United to be a top team, just for the Premier League in general,” the Fulham skipper said.
“I am enjoying watching them again. I thought they were good against Villa.
“I just feel like going forward they are a threat and it’s nice to see, it’s refreshing to see Man United going forward again and scoring goals even though their top goalscorer is a midfield player.
“I would expect Rashford and Bruno Fernandes by the end of the season both to be in double figures.”

It’s no secret that Ten Hag’s men endured a difficult first half of the campaign as they struggled in the final third.
But with Rasmus Hojlund growing in confidence, they have started to find their scoring touch once again.
United sit just six points behind fourth-placed Spurs and are suddenly back in the hunt for Champions League qualification this season.
While the Red Devils aren’t exactly the most exciting side to watch, they were an effective counter-attacking side last season.
With Ten Hag’s side finding form at just the right time, it should be an interesting end to the season at Old Trafford.
