Conor Coady admitted that he was left absolutely fascinated watching one Tottenham Hotspur player against Aston Villa on Sunday, insisting that Ange Postecoglou was asking him to do something you never, ever see.
Unsurprisingly, it was a frenetic start at Villa Park between the two top-four chasers in the Premier League. Of course, both sides are known for playing incredibly high lines this season. And thus, the movement of the attacking players was always going to have to be perfect.
But obviously, it was not only the attacking players looking to make those line-breaking runs. And the movement of one Tottenham player really caught the eye of Conor Coady.
Conor Coady amazed by Pedro Porro in Tottenham clash
Pedro Porro has been a revelation under Ange Postecoglou. He is closing in on double figures for assists this season in the Premier League.

And speaking to BBC Radio Five Live (broadcast on 10/3; 13:10), the former Wolves captain admitted that he could not quite believe what he was seeing from the Spaniard.
“I tell you what, in this period of the game, it’s fascinating to see the way Tottenham play and the way the two full-backs come inside. If you look at the position of Pedro Porro now, trying to run in behind, it’s something you never, ever see from full-backs. It’s absolutely fascinating, it’s great to see live,” he said.
Spurs never known when they’re beaten
Tottenham are highly unlikely to ever be the best side defensively. Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have been so impressive together. And yet, Spurs had not kept a clean sheet against a top-half side in the Premier League since August before today.
It is what they do going forward which has put them into this position now. They have so much quality in attack and they have the confidence that they can outscore anyone.
Porro plays an important role in that, as does Destiny Udogie. And clearly, many continue to be mesmerised by the system.
