‘It’s done’: Fabrizio Romano has some really bad news for Arsenal fans

Arsenal have lost Omari Hutchinson to Chelsea, according to The Secret Scout and Fabrizio Romano.

The Gunners academy graduate has reportedly opted to swap the Emirates Stadium for Stamford Bridge.

Hutchinson began his career with Chelsea before joining Charlton in 2014 and then linking up with Arsenal in 2015.

The 18-year-old had risen through the Gunners ranks to Under-23 level, where he looked a cut above.

Hutchinson also trained regularly with the Arsenal first team and made the bench on numerous occasions.

However, Mikel Arteta never gave the midfielder his senior debut.

According to football.london, Marquinhos’ arrival was the potential move that made Hutchinson’s mind up.

Here is what The Secret Scout and Romano have written on Twitter regarding the young talent’s future:

Hutchinson is an incredibly talented player, and to lose him to a London rival must be painful for Arsenal.

You can’t blame him for wanting to leave – by the sounds of it, he felt he didn’t have much of a pathway to the first team.

But as football.london have written, there isn’t really a guarantee of an easier pathway into the Chelsea senior squad.
