Former Tottenham Hotspur man Sandro Raniere has told WeAreTottenhamTV that he’s absolutely buzzing to see how good Harry Kane has become.
Sandro played his football in north London for four years before leaving for Queens Park Rangers back in 2014.
The tenacious midfielder was something of a fan-favourite at the old White Hart Lane for putting in tenacious displays in midfield.
His Spurs career was relatively short but he was around when Kane began to stake his claim for a place in the side during the 2013-14 campaign. And the Brazilian says Kane has gone on to become a top striker.

Sandro buzzing for Kane
Speaking to WeAreTottenhamTV, Sandro was asked if he could ever see Kane becoming as good as he is today.
“I can say yes, but seeing him in training and the way he puts [effort] into the training sessions. I will say yes,” he responded.
“He’s a top player now, no one could have said he would be a top, top player. But think that one guy is training hard in Tottenham in good condition.
“He gets injuries but it’s normal. Now I can say Harry was ready to do it. Because he was hungry and fighting.
“It’s so good to see him in this way because I was there when he was a child. It’s amazing to see how big he is at the moment.”

Kane infamously struggled during loan spells at Norwich City and Leicester before returning to Spurs in 2013.
During that campaign he started to show he’s capable of scoring goals at the top level, having bagged three goals in ten appearances under Sherwood in the Premier League.
Of course, it was under Mauricio Pochettino that the 29-year-old became the world-class player he is today.
But Sandro was around to witness the early stages of Kane’s rise in north London and it’s clear that he’s delighted for his former teammate.
