‘It’s a madness’… Michail Antonio stunned after what’s happened at Arsenal this year

Michail Antonio has claimed that Arsenal have been ‘taking the mick’ out of every team they have faced recently.

Mikel Arteta’s side are undoubtedly the most in-form team in the Premier League at the moment.

After their 6-0 win at Bramall Lane on Monday evening, Arsenal have now won seven consecutive league games in emphatic style.

The Gunners have netted a staggering total of 31 goals in the process, while only conceding three times.

Michail Antonio watched on as Arsenal thrashed West Ham at the London Stadium last month.

And after learning that Sheffield United had received similar treatment on Monday, Antonio labelled the Gunners’ form a ‘madness’.

Speaking on The Footballer’s Football Podcast, Antonio reacted after being told that Arsenal had thrashed Sheffield United 6-0 while recording the podcast on Monday.

“Bro, since January, they’re taking the mick out of every player and team they’ve played against. It’s a madness,” the Hammers star said.

On current form, Arsenal are probably the most feared team in the division at the moment.

Opposition sides certainly won’t be looking forward to facing off against the Gunners after some emphatic wins of late.

The big question is whether or not Arsenal can maintain this kind of form until May.

It’s no secret that Arsenal were firing on all cylinders last term but their performances dipped significantly during the run-in for the title.

The Gunners will certainly be confident they have learned from last season and there is a different feel around Arteta’s side this time around.

Their biggest tests are yet to come, with a huge clash at Manchester City just around the corner. But if Arsenal continue to blow teams away, they will be confident of getting the job done this time around.
