Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi could be set to leave the Emirates Stadium before Thursday’s deadline.
As reported by Sky Sports, Everton lodged a surprise £30 million bid to sign the Nigeria international, with the Gunners quick to reject the offer.

BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein believes that deal could still come to fruition, if the Toffees are willing to up their bid.
It would appear Everton are seeking alternative options, with Wilfried Zaha proving very difficult to prise away from Crystal Palace.
The club reportedly bid £70 million plus James McCarthy and Cenk Tosun but the Eagles rejected their offer. The Ivorian forward has now supposedly handed in a transfer request.
One man who will be an interested spectator over the next 24 hours or so, is talented youngster Reiss Nelson.
TBR’s view
Should Iwobi be sold – and the club should absolutely consider making that happen – then Nelson is surely in a fantastic position to make his mark for the first-team in 2019/20.

Obviously Nicolas Pepe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be the main wingers but no Iwobi would surely mean more opportunities for the 19-year-old.
If Arsenal turn down any improved offers from Everton for Iwobi, then it will be a big blow for Nelson who has had a fine pre-season and is arguably as good if not already better than the 23-year-old.
