Italian under-21 boss Paolo Nicolato has praised Everton striker Moise Kean for his brave decision to leave Juventus.
Everton snapped up the promising Italy international for a fee reported to be worth £27.5 million by The Independent.
It was an eye-catching move from Everton, as they look to add some much-needed firepower to their current attack.
But leaving the comfort of Italy and a big club like Juventus was a bold move and the Italy under-21 boss, who knows Kean well, commended him for doing so in an interview with Ala News.
“Few Italians are sought for abroad, and this should make us think.
“Kean has gone to England, not to any country. The problem is finding spaces (in the steam). It is better that a player goes out (of Italy, instead of sitting) on the bench in Italy.”

There is no doubt that Kean could have remained at Juventus, played off the bench for the entire season, and continued to grow his reputation and skills.

But it shows the hunger of the 19-year-old that he decided to step outside his comfort zone and leave Italy so young, something that as Nicolato alludes to is rarely done by Italian youngsters.
So far, Kean has struggled to find his best form at Everton but that is to be expected of a young lad who has just arrived in a new country.
Everton fans will continue to back the talented Italian and, hopefully, he can find his feet on Merseyside soon.
