Manchester United lost to Chelsea in embarrassing fashion on Thursday evening.
Two late goals sealed the Red Devils’ fate, but even before that you’d find it difficult to say that Erik Ten Hag’s side had played well.
They had their moments, but they lacked any sense of control in the game, and, once again, their midfield was a huge issue.
Speaking on the Wrighty’s House Podcast, Ian Wright has been reviewing this game, and he’s pointed out one player in particular who didn’t look right on the day.

Ian Wright singles out Manchester United player
Wright spoke on his podcast about Casemiro’s workrate and how he was tracking back, and he says the way that the Brazilian was running was a joke.
“Watching Casemiro run back in terms of putting pressure on, you were thinking they’ve gone and it’s over for United. That was at 2-0. The way he was running, it was a joke man, it was very gingerly. His face didn’t change, he was just running back, it was really weird to watch,” Wright said.
Casemiro’s legs look gone
This has been a running trend of this season.
Casemiro looks to have really slowed down this season, and as much as we hate to say it, it appears as though his legs have gone.
The Brazilian is just too easy to get past these days, and his decline is a massive reason why Manchester United have been so poor this term.
The £60m man had an incredible debut season at Old Trafford, but this term he’s been way off the pace, and it doesn’t look like he’ll improve anytime soon.
At the age of 32 now, it may just be that time has caught up with Casemiro and he may have to call it a day when it comes to playing top-level football now.
