Sergio Aguero believes that training as more intense at Manchester City than at new club FC Barcelona.
Speaking on his Twitch channel, the ex-Cityzen striker was asked what the main difference has been between the Premier League champions and Barcelona.
Aguero’s answer, though, was a surprising one. The Argentina international named the intensity in training between the two clubs was different. With City’s being a lot more driven and intense whilst Barcelona’s was more laid back and carefree.

Indeed, Barcelona’s troubles off the pitch have been well-documented over the summer. And the departure of big names such as Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann would have surely played an effect on the culture of the dressing room.
Yet it was still a surprising revelation from Aguero, who is currently out injured until November. The City legend said: “At Man City, we used to arrive at least an hour & a half before training. Here, like 30 minutes before.
“I figured, ‘I will be there an hour before to see if I can go to the gym or whatever’. But no, even the lights were off. It is very different.”

With Aguero out until November at the earliest, it will be interesting to see how the 33-year-old ace does when he returns to the pitch for Barcelona.
Yet based on these comments, it appears that Aguero is not that impressed with how training runs at Barcelona.
