Leandro Trossard has been at Arsenal for a year now, and, to be honest, he hasn’t put a foot wrong in that time.
The attacker has been brilliant for the Gunners, he’s popped up with a number of key goals and assists since signing for the London club.
In fact, Trossard has been so effective that he has the third-best goal/assist to minute ratio of any Arsenal player in Premier League history behind only Robin van Persie and Thierry Henry.
Speaking on Premier League Productions, Glenn Murray has been discussing Trossard’s impact at Arsenal, and he says that the Belgian is quite underrated in that he doesn’t get the credit he deserves within the club.

Leandro Trossard is underrated
Murray spoke about the £27m attacker.
“Yeah, Leandro is a class act and I think to be honest, I saw that stat and it surprised me, to be behind those two guys is special. He probably isn’t appreciated enough at the football club, with him on form, Martinelli on form, Arsenal will think internally that they can mount a charge,” Murray said.
So underrated
Murray is spot on, Trossard is so underrated, not just by fans but by those within Arsenal.
For some reason, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka are two of the first names on the teamsheet at the Emirates, but Trossard should really be in that mix more often.
The fact that only Van Persie and Henry can match Trossard in terms of goal contributions per minute for Arsenal shows just how brilliant he has been, but, for some reason, he’s been put into this rotational substitute role, despite being so good.
Trossard is a player who is good enough to be a key player for a top club, and Arsenal should really utilise his talents more.
