Following a disappointing draw with PSV Eindhoven which leaves Tottenham’s chances of Champions League progress looking precarious at best, boss Mauricio Pochettino refused to blame anyone.
Many fans had criticised captain and goalkeeper Hugo Lloris for his 79th minute sending off which then led to an 87th minute equaliser from Luuk de Jong.
“The game was under control at 2-1. The performance was good,” Mauricio Pochettino said after the game, speaking to the club website.
“We dominated but we had some bad luck in some actions. That is football. If you play nine games more, maybe you play and win the games.
“Today the circumstances were against us but, again, we’re not going to blame (anyone). We need to see ourselves and try to improve.”

The Argentinian has long refused opportunities to criticise his players and has stuck with that policy with Lloris despite his woeful form of late which appears to be costing his team.
Lloris has not looked the same ever since he was arrested for drink driving, which led to many questioning his captaincy, with his gaffe against Barcelona catching perhaps the most attention of them all.
Given that the Frenchman will be suspended for the next outing in Europe, at home to their Dutch counterparts, it could be a blessing in disguise to have Michel Vorm in between the sticks with a point to prove to his coach.
