Ins:
Marc-Andre ter Stegen
The Barcelona hotshot shot-stopper has admitted he’s no longer content with wasting time sitting on the bench at the Camp Nou, and is in search of being the number one. He was linked with the Reds back in 2012, and since then, ter Stegen made his reputation as ‘mini-Neuer’ and could well follow the same successful career trajectory. He shows true quality despite his young age, and could be both the Liverpool and Germany number one for the next ten years.
Alexandre Lacazette
The Frenchman is one of the planet’s hottest prospects, and recently admitted this could be the summer he takes the next step in his career and leave for the Premier League. Many of the top clubs are likely to be interested in a man who’s scored over 40 league goals since the beginning of last season, but this could be the chance for Liverpool to get their hands on a sharp, hard-working, world-class goal-scorer to depend upon. My advice – use the Benteke money to fund the move, promise him the starting spot he’d deserve, and watch the goals flow.
Mario Götze
It wouldn’t be a Liverpool transfer section if we didn’t suggest the ambitious, now would it? The German World Cup winner has sat on the bench for the majority of his Bayern career, and that shows little sign of changing after he was ignored during a host of contract renewals for the Bavarians this year. Asked if he’d be playing for Bayern next year, he cheekily replied “you have to ask Jurgen“. Do Liverpool really need any more playmakers? Probably not. Would he bring creativity and style to a team lacking quality at times? Certainly. It would allow Firmino to flourish further forward, take some of the pressure off Coutinho, and add true quality to a side which can be stale at times.
