Arsenal fans are in for a rollercoaste of a summer it seems, with Spotify owner Daniel Ek throwing his name into the hat to buy the club.

Last week’s protests aimed at the Kroenke’s sent a big message across not only North London, but football in general. However, it is believed Stan Kroenke and his team have, at the moment, no intention of selling.

The name of Daniel Ek was almost immediately thrown into the mix. The self-proclaimed Arsenal fan is apparently keen on taking over the reins at the club, and he spoke yesterday to confirm he’d ‘secured the funds’ to make a bid.

It seems, then, that Ek’s interest is very much real. And Arsenal fans were on social media loving what they were hearing from the 38-year-old Swedish billionaire.

Gunners fans were all over Twitter discussing his latest comments and by the looks of things, some Arsenal supporters want Ek through the door as quickly as possible.
