Rangers take on Kilmarnock tonight, and it could be that ‘one of their own’ puts a dent in their title hopes.
Lining up against the Light Blues will be Jordan Jones, who recently signed a pre-contract agreement with Steven Gerrard’s side.
He will join the club ahead of the 2018/19 season after a three-season stint at Rugby Park.

Jones has been a permanent fixture in the Kilmarnock starting XI this term, having made 19 appearances in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers will have to have their wits about them tonight, or risk having their title hopes dashed by a player who’ll be in their dressing room next season.
The Gers are currently level on points at the top with Celtic, with Kilmarnock just one behind.
Gerrard wary of inbound Jones
Gerrard has urged his players not to show Jones too much respect tonight, knowing that he will be a teammate of theirs next season.

He said, as quoted by The Daily Record: “At the moment where it stands, he’s an opponent, he’s the enemy, he’s a rival and we’ll treat him that way.
“We know all about Jordan, he’s always a threat, but he’s an opponent and we treat him individually and Kilmarnock with respect. We just deal with it as normal, really.”
Rangers mustn’t show him too must respect
The Rangers players must forget all about the fact that Jones will be joining them for 2019/2020.

Gerrard will no doubt be drumming it into them to be professional.
It would certainly be ironic if Jones influences tonight’s game and Rangers go on to fall short in the title race.
Jones’ pace and power mean it’ll be important for the defenders to get tight to him and ensure he cannot affect the game – there’s a chance he could be extra fired up.
